TheWertle has translated an interview called “Scenario Mysteries” with Tetsuya Nomura from Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Ultimania. The interview revealed that the Enigmatic Soldier’s name is Terra.
In case you forgot or simply don’t know, the name of the frozen knight is Ven and the female knight is Aqua. The rest of the interview is something no Kingdom Hearts fan can afford to miss!

TheWertle has translated an interview with Nomura from Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Ultimania and realized that the names of the knights are related to elements just like in the last game.
An explanation for those not aware: The knights are the characters that made an appearance in the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts II. They are a part of the next Kingdom Hearts title.
· The frozen male knight is called Ven which means Wind.
· The female knight is called Aqua which means Water.
· The name of the second male knight, the Enigmatic Soldier, is unknown yet. His name should be related to Earth, though.

Oh, now doesn’t this come as a surprise? The following is written inside EGM’s “Rumor Mill” column in issue #216:
“Seems Disney and publisher Square Enix want to keep the Kingdom Hearts series beating — hell, no surprise there. But this may be one: My mousy mole tipped me off that the next KH game won’t be the third game in the series, but instead, it will be a spin-off that will appear on a hearty console. Don’t worry, though — KH3 will still happen…eventually.“
To which console does hearty refers to, you ask? Well, none actually knows, but most of the NeoGAF community suggest it’s either the Nintendo Wii or DS.

IGN has translated some of Nomura’s latest interviews and found many interesting details. Here’s a snippet from their article:
“Gemaga asked if the characters who appear in the new CG “secret movie” that has been added to Final Mix are from the new title. “They are people who have some relation to the new series,” said the producer. “However the next title won’t just be Kingdom Hearts III. If it were III, we wouldn’t call it a new series.”
